Mueller Winery Returns to Healdsburg
Privately owned Mueller Winery has announced the sale of their Starr Road winery facility in Windsor, California. The sale, which was finalized last week, does not include the Mueller brand, wine inventory or grape contracts. Mueller will continue to source their grapes from the same premium Russian River Valley vineyards they have been using for twenty years. Winemaker, Bob Mueller, will move the hands-on production of his highly acclaimed Russian River wines to a new state-of-the-art facility in Santa Rosa in time for the upcoming 2013 harvest.
The Mueller Tasting Room, known for its "Tasting in the Cellar", is moving to a new spot in downtown Healdsburg, located at 118 North Street, across from the Raven Performing Arts Center. Tasting will continue at the Starr Road site until June 1 at which time the new tasting room in Healdsburg will be open Daily from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Bob and Lori Mueller established the Mueller brand in Healdsburg in 1991 when they built their first winery, Robert Mueller Cellars, on Foss Creek Circle. They are thrilled to be returning to their hometown.
