FREDERICKSBURG, Texas (April 21, 2021) - Kalasi Cellars, a growing boutique winery in the Texas Hill Country, is pleased to announce the groundbreaking on a 10,800 square foot production facility at its tasting room site in Fredericksburg, Texas. This facility will feature a crush pad, space for bin fermentations and small batch tanks, barrel storage, case good storage, a laboratory, and restrooms. The facility is due to be completed prior to harvest such that the entirety of the 2021 vintage can be produced in house.

With the addition of this production facility, Kalasi Cellars will be well situated to continue its rapid growth trajectory. Per owner Nikhila Narra Davis, “this new facility will help us realize our vision of creating world-class quality, 100% estate-grown Texas wines. Greg and I are ecstatic for the potential this building provides our winery and our customers.”

After completion, Kalasi Cellars will be one of the few wineries in Texas growing 100% of their own fruit in Texas (Narra Vineyards) and processing all fruit for the winery in house, setting it up to be a leader in the Texas wine industry for years to come.
