Those eligible for the scholarship include women who are interested in pursuing a business- or finance-minded career track within the wine industry and are eager to further their wine educations. Click here to apply. Scholarship winners will be announced on Aug. 14, 2020.

"Central Coast Insights and WiVi are two of the most informative and educational events offered on the Central Coast for wine industry executives. This is an incredible opportunity for any emerging professional and we are grateful to Wine Business Monthly for extending this scholarship," said Amanda Wittstrom Higgins, president and founder of Dream Big Darling and vice president of operations of Ancient Peaks Winery.

“The new virtual format for Central Coast Insights has allowed us the opportunity to build on existing scholarship opportunities with Dream Big Darling to ensure that more of the industry’s next generation of leaders can pursue further education and broaden their approaches to the business of wine,” said Erin Kirschenmann, managing editor of Wine Business Monthly. “Our goal has always been to provide informative, reliable resources to all members of the industry, and we hope that by offering these scholarships we’re helping more young women reach their career goals.”
