The T.J. Martell Foundation Announces DRINK WINE -- CURE CANCER

Partnership with Artisan Wine Makers Olé & Obrigado Helps Support Critical Cancer Research

New York, New York – May 28, 2020 – The T.J. Martell Foundation for Cancer Research has partnered with Olé & Obrigado, artisan wine makers from Spain and Portugal, for the Drink Wine – Cure Cancer promotion. When everything else in our lives has been cancelled, unfortunately cancer has not.  The partners have created an innovative virtual event to replace one of the Foundation’s Best Cellar dinners, one of their popular annual events.

For a limited time only, place an order for a case of Olé & Obrigado’s famous Spanish Rosée Liquid Geography and 100% of the proceeds will go towards critical cancer research. The promotion only runs through the end of June. Patrons can use the code TJM for a 15% discount.

The T.J. Martell Foundation is the music industry’s leading foundation that funds innovative medical research focused on finding treatments and cures for cancer. The Foundation sources and supports early-stage research projects aimed at developing more effective clinical treatments for patients which otherwise might not be funded.

“Cancer never gets cancelled and our events help fund important research and treatments. It’s been challenging to continue to support all of the medical researach our scientists and doctors are doing on a daily basis while the events we depend on were cancelled. This is why we are so thankful to our friends at Olé & Obrigado for supporting us in this way. Please purchase a case of this beautiful wine, enjoy it with family and know that you are helping find a cure for cancer.” – Laura Heatherly, CEO of the T.J. Martell Foundation

Olé & Obrigado represents a collection of fine wines crafted by family-owned wineries in Spain and Portugal. The wine company’s mission is to import soulful wines of exceptional quality from Spain and Portugal. Olé & Obrigado represents over 40 boutique producers across the Iberian Peninsula. Their wines are sold through distributor partners in all 50 states.

“The fight against cancer is very personal to me. My mother is a survivor and in honor of her we are very proud to support the T.J. Martell Foundation any way we can. We’ve been involved in their now famous Best Cellars dinners which have reised funds for cancer research for many years. With the challenges of socials distancing presently in place, we thought this would be a great way to replace those critical funds usually raised at their events.” – Patrick Mata, Co-Founder, Olé & Obrigado

The exclusive Spanish Rosée Liquid Geography wine will be available only while supplies last. The promotion ends June 30, 2020.
