Wine Business Monthly Heads North with New Forum, Dinner and Tasting in Pacific Northwest
July 02, 2019
SONOMA, CA – Wine Communications Group (WCG), the parent company of Wine Business Monthly (WBM) and Wines Vines Analytics (WVA), is hosting a new Pacific Northwest event, Wine Business Northwest, held Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Chateau Ste. Michelle in Woodinville, Washington. Featuring two seminars, a global tasting, dinner and networking, the event is the first for WCG in the Northwest.
Wine Business Monthly editors Cyril Penn and Erin Kirschenmann will start the night off with a discussion of the latest in wine industry news, global trends, issues and insights, as well as some of the creative solutions, moderated by Kari Leitch, SVP, communications and corporate affairs at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates.
Now that data has proven itself as essential in all financial, sales and marketing endeavors, join Andrew Adams, editor of the Wine Analytics Report, and Jon Moramarco, managing partner of bw166, in an exploration of ways to identify the right data to move your business forward.
Linda Chauncey, director of education at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates, will then lead attendees through a global tasting of the SMWE portfolio, each wine a representation of a new “first” for the winery. An al fresco dinner will then be served.
All activities will take place at Washington state's founding winery Chateau Ste. Michelle in Woodinville. Founded in 1934, Chateau Ste. Michelle pioneered vinifera grape growing in Washington State and has been producing classic European varietal wines under the Ste. Michelle label since 1967. The winery combines an ongoing dedication to research with a commitment to classic winemaking traditions. The winery owns 3,900 acres of vineyards in the Columbia Valley of Eastern Washington and enjoys winemaking partnerships with some of the world’s most distinguished vintners.
