New $32 Million OLE Health Facility Improves Access and Expands Quality of Healthcare for Napa County
May 15, 2019
Napa, Calif.—OLE Health announces the opening of its new OLE Health Napa Valley Vintners South Napa Campus located in the South Napa Century Center. The new flagship location will improve the quality of care for OLE Health’s more than 37,000 patients – including 8,000 children – by providing access to a wide range of healthcare services under one roof. OLE Health currently operates several health center locations throughout the Napa Valley and in Fairfield.
The additional space and innovative building design means OLE Health will be able to closely manage comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate primary care, women’s health, behavioral health, dental care, dietitians and more. The facility will also offer patients new services, including a triage unit, a teaching kitchen, optometry and a community garden.
“This building was designed for our patients, to give them the best possible healthcare experience we can offer,” said OLE Health CEO Alicia Hardy, noting that OLE Health was founded in 1972 and now provides care to one in six adults in Napa County, including more than 4,000 agricultural workers. “This beautiful new facility supports our unique model of team-based care, in which the team works closely together to deliver services in a way that is integrated, patient-centered and seamless.”
In addition to its dedicated staff, board of directors and leadership over the years, a key element to OLE Health’s growth has been deep and consistent support from the local community. The new facility located at 300 Hartle Court is named the Napa Valley Vintners South Napa Campus in honor of the Napa Valley Vintners’ long history of supporting OLE Health and a generous donation of $6 million that organization provided to kick-start OLE’s effort to raise $15 million for the $32 million project.
“Since our first small grant in 1984, we have worked closely with OLE Health investing a total of over $40 million in funds raised at Auction Napa Valley with them as our largest nonprofit partner. We are honored to support an organization that delivers efficient, high-quality and compassionate care to so many, including uninsured and underinsured clients,” said David Pearson, Chair of the NVV Board of Directors.
After a successful capital campaign, the project broke ground two years ago. A combined gift of $2 million from Louis & Evalyn Trinchero and Trinchero Family Estates, as well as contributions from individual donors, also helped the campaign reach its goal. The Peter A. & Vernice H. Gasser Foundation donated the land on which the new facility was built, and also contributed funds.
OLE Health expects to begin seeing patients at the new location on June 3. The 29,000-square-foot facility includes 18 patient exam rooms, nine dental operatories and 10 consult rooms for integrated behavioral health, nursing, nutrition and clinical pharmacy services.
The community is invited to attend a Grand Opening & Ribbon-Cutting event on Wednesday, May 22, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 300 Hartle Court in Napa. NapaSport Steakhouse, Southside Café, Napkins Bar + Grill, and NakedWines.com have donated wine and small bites for the event, which will be coordinated by the Napa Chamber of Commerce.

About Napa Valley Vintners & Auction Napa Valley
Since its founding in 1944 a core mission of the Napa Valley Vintners nonprofit trade association has been to protect this extraordinary place we call home. A key element to the health of our community is of course the wellbeing of local children and families. For our investments to have the greatest impact, we partner with nonprofits that are experts in their specialty and already providing excellent service in the fields of medical services, social services and education. The NVV currently works with 25 nonprofits in Napa County, mostly on a long-term basis with many of these relationships having existed for decades. It is through our close collaboration with these community partners and the contributions of our bidders, vintner members and community partners that we harness the power of the Napa Valley’s celebrated wines to support healthy kids and a healthy valley.
