Cline Family Cellars Updates Ancient Vines Collection with an Elegant New Look

Posted on May 01, 2018

(May 1, 2018; Sonoma, Calif.)—Cline Family Cellars, a Sonoma-based winery owned by Fred and Nancy Cline, has updated the packaging for its Ancient Vines series of wines with an elegant new look. The new packaging debuts with the release of the 2016 Ancient Vines Zinfandel (SRP $14.99) and 2017Ancient Vines Mourvèdre Rosé (SRP $12.99), rolling out now through national distribution, followed by the release of the Ancient Vines Mourvèdre (SRP $14.99) and Ancient Vines Carignane (SRP $14.99) later this year.

Created by Affinity Creative Group, based on Mare Island, CA, the updated labels communicate the importance of Ancient Vines, signifying the age of Cline’s dry-farmed, head-pruned vineyards in the Oakley region of Contra Costa County. The vineyards, which form the backbone of this series of wines, date back over 100 years. These low-yielding vines consistently produce fruit of stunning concentration that lead to a signature round and velvety finish.

“The Cline Ancient Vines series has always been a fan favorite, so we felt it was important to inject a sense of luxury which aligns with the modern market,” says Fred Cline. “The Ancient Vines labels tell the story of our family’s long history in California winemaking, as well as our dedication to quality. We want the wines to look as good on the dining room table as they taste in the glass.”
