Description: Healdsburg Literary Guild, SHED and Carol Shelton Wines present Thomas Pinney, author of the widely acclaimed two-volume A History of Wine in America, giving a slide talk drawn from his new book The City of Vines: A History of Wine in Los Angeles. Your admission includes a seat, a glass of Carol Shelton wine and some savory bites prepared by SHED chef Perry Hoffman.

As a special prequel to the program, there will be a FREE Attraction, a tour that starts at 5:30 PM at the Healdsburg Library (139 Piper St., Healdsburg, a block from SHED). The tour begins with Dean Walters, Wine Antiquities Dealer, explaining his exhibit, The Golden Age of Wine at the Library, followed by a walking tour showing Healdsburg wine history sites en route to SHED.
