Description: Explore the challenges and recent updates in winery accounting and finance issues. This course covers industry specific accounting and reporting for winery profit and loss statements and balance sheets, including tasting room accounting, sales discounts and promotions, winery assets and depreciation, winery intangibles, cost segregation, and inventory costing.
Corinne Maddaugh, MBA, CPA, CHE, is a lecturer at Sonoma State University in the School of Business and Economics, where she teaches the Corporate Finance course, and is an instructor at the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone. She is also the Controller for Landmark Winery, a premium chardonnay and pinot winery in Kenwood, California, and has held a variety of positions with Roll Global, Hewlett Packard, Agilent Technologies, Zainer Rinehart Clarke DFK, Balancing Pointe, Hanna Winery, and Electronic Data Systems (EDS). Corinne did her undergraduate work at CSU Chico, and received her MBA from Sonoma State University.
