Nicholson Ranch Winery is hiring a harvest intern to assist in the day-to-day activities necessary in creating our award winning wines. We grow and produce Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Merlot, and Syrah all on our estate, as well as produce Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese from our sister vineyard in Yountville. We do all of our winemaking on site so you will be an integral part of the entire harvest and winemaking process from start to finish. It is a great opportunity to gain experience and knowledge in winemaking. The job will be full time from early August to mid-November with opportunities for overtime.

Duties include:
Punchdowns and Pumpovers
Cleaning and Sanitizing all tools and wine processing equipment
Tank Preparation and Cleaning
Barrel Preparation and Cleaning
Leafing on harvest days
Additional tasks as needed

Qualifications:
2 seasons of harvest experience
Basic cellar skills
Conversational English required.
Knowledge of tank and hose assembly
Care for Cleanliness
Willingness to learn
Ability to climb ladders, lift 50 lb, and strength to perform punchdowns
Flexibility with shift schedules including weekends.
