Title: Tasting Room Associate
Reports to: Tasting Room Manager
Schedule: Part-time

Located in the heart of Edna Valley, Biddle Ranch Vineyard has always been about the simple indulgence of drinking great wine in a beautiful place with friends and family. It’s this feeling that we strive to create in our tasting room every single day.

Responsibilities / Duties:
Successful completion of orientation and training
Welcome and acknowledge guests to the BRV Tasting Room
Provide excellent customer service by creating education, fun and memorable experiences for all guests.
Educate guests about our wines, winemaking techniques, and winery history
Promote benefits of BRV Wine Club and actively sign up new members
Build and maintain lasting relationships with guests and club members
Perform sales transactions and customer entry using POS system
Book reservations through Tock while adhering to our booking policies.
Maintain a welcoming and orderly tasting room appearance by assisting with bussing tables, glassware washing, stocking wine
Assist with set-up and participate in events (onsite and offsite) as needed.
Other duties as assigned by manager/follow all company policies and procedures.
Maintain satisfactory attendance, including punctuality

Qualifications / Skills:
A passion for people and providing exceptional hospitality
Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Positive attitude and the ability to multi-task
Must enjoy working with and adding to a team environment
Enthusiasm about wine and the desire to learn about it
A strong understanding of or ability to learn Central Coast wine country, including the local vineyards, unique AVAs and terroirs of the region, and the differences between them is plus.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8hrs)
Must be able to work weekends and holidays

Pay Range: $16.50/hr; DOE, plus tips and commission.
