Job Description:

Wine Service Cooperative is a trusted partner in the wine industry, providing comprehensive storage, distribution, and logistics services to ensure quality and efficiency at every stage. We leverage cutting-edge technology to optimize operations, and we are seeking a skilled IT professional to manage and enhance our IT infrastructure and systems.

We are seeking a proactive and experienced IT Manager to oversee and maintain the IT operations for Wine Service Cooperative. This role is critical in ensuring the efficiency and security of our network infrastructure, devices, and software systems across all facilities. In addition, the IT Manager will act as a super-user for the company's Warehouse Management System (WMS) – Manhattan Scale – supporting its implementation, configuration, and optimization. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
•  Network Infrastructure:
-Manage and maintain network infrastructure across all facilities to ensure uptime and reliability.
-Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly.
-Oversee upgrades, updates, and security patches.

•  Device Management:
-Manage all IT hardware, including servers, workstations, mobile devices, and peripherals.
-Implement and maintain asset management systems for tracking and inventory.

•  WMS Super-User Role:
-Serve as the primary expert on the Manhattan Scale WMS.
-Configure, optimize, and maintain the WMS to meet operational needs.
-Train and support end-users to ensure efficient use of the system.

•  Microsoft 365 Administration:
-Administer and support Microsoft 365 applications, including Exchange, Excel, Word, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
-Manage user accounts, permissions, and licenses.
-Monitor and enhance the security of the Microsoft 365 environment.

•  IT Strategy and Planning:
-Collaborate with leadership to align IT initiatives with business goals.
-Develop and enforce IT policies and best practices.
-Plan and execute IT projects within budget and timeline constraints.

•  Support and Troubleshooting:
-Provide Level 2/3 support to resolve complex technical issues.
-Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
-Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
-Provide point of contact for staff IT issues.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience managing IT operations, including network infrastructure and devices.
Expertise in WMS systems, preferably Manhattan Scale, with super-user capabilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration and security.

Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills for end-user training and support. Ability to work independently and as part of a team is a plus. Experience in the wine or logistics industry is preferrable. Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft 365 Certified, or equivalent is preferred and knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and tools a plus.
