Position: Sales Representative – Martine’s Wines (Westchester/Hudson Valley)

The Opportunity
Martine's Wines is seeking a dynamic and proficient Sales Representative to join our team, with a focus on cultivating and expanding our footprint in the competitive Upstate New York market. This role is ideal for a wine enthusiast who excels in a high-paced environment and has a proven track record in sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster and elevate Martine's Wines’ presence in the Upstate NY market in collaboration with our New York/Chicago Sales Manager.
- Proactively engage with 30+ on-premise and off-premise accounts weekly to meet and surpass sales objectives.
- Act as a passionate advocate of our wine portfolio, delivering exceptional service to our network of restaurant and retail partners.
- Plan and orchestrate wine events such as tastings and dinners to engage both industry stakeholders and wine enthusiasts.
- Initiate and nurture new client relationships and business opportunities.
- Accommodate winery representatives' visits, including organizing educational and promotional events, with occasional trips to our headquarters in California, among other potential travel opportunities.
Qualifications:
- A strong history of successful sales, particularly in similar roles or industries.
- Professional demeanor with outstanding communication, interpersonal, and organizational capabilities.
- A proactive self-starter who is energized by a dynamic and fast-moving sales environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Residency in Westchester or Hudson Valley with a readiness for local travel. Must be physically capable of lifting 40+ lbs regularly.
Compensation and Benefits:
- A competitive salary and commission structure that reflects your experience and skill set.
- A total compensation package combining a salary and commission structure that ranges between $80,000 to over $110,000 based on sales results and skill set.
