An established San Francisco neighborhood wine store is currently looking for an experienced General Manager who is a wine & spirits professional to join our team. The ideal manager candidate should possess wine retail experience, a super-charged customer focused attitude, strong management experience, and a passion for wine and spirits.

The ideal candidate will have most of these qualifications:

2+ years experience managing a busy restaurant, bar or wine store.
Experience working with fine wine & spirits in fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment
Experience in hiring and training staff
Passion for wine and spirits, excellent wine service and excellent general spirits knowledge
Highly motivated and outstanding work ethic
Clear and concise verbal communication skills with good writing skills a plus
Experience working with POS computer and database entry a plus
Financial P&L experience a plus
Experience teaching about spirits & wine
Willing & able to work evenings, weekends and Holidays
Proven and demonstrated customer service skills
An intense desire to expand your wine & spirits knowledge and improve your wine service skills
Very detail oriented
Be 21 years of age or older
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
Will expect positive professional references
