Job Description:

Position Summary:

The Business Analyst is responsible for generating data, reporting and analytics for the Customer Service and Inventory teams at the Napa County Distribution Center (NCDC), as well as to provide relevant data to the Sales, Marketing and Operational Leadership teams at Jackson Family Wines (JFW). The Business Analyst leverages Data Sources to generate, create and maintain reports for the NCDC. Data gathered is used by the NCDC, Sales, Marketing and Operational Leadership teams to support business processes, continuity and to guide KPM reporting metrics. This person plays a critical role in the internal distribution network processes to support execution of Jackson Family Wines deliverables.

Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
•  With minimal oversight, generate and maintain all critical organization reports to enable Jackson Family Wines to execute sales and distribution goals more accurately
•  Develop reports for various metrics, time frames and desired data outputs, by utilizing various reporting programs and data sources
•  Participate staff meetings to provide support of objective completion
•  Provide ad hoc analysis to support decision-making by Sales, Marketing, and Leadership

An Ideal Candidate Has:
•  Working knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, and data models
•  Knowledge or Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS)
•  Functional knowledge with Power BI
•  Minimum 2-3 years of pulling data from data sources and report building
•  Advanced level of excel experience strongly preferred
•  Ability to translate requested information into relevant reporting tools
•  Strong visualization abilities and attention to the smallest details
•  Ability to understand various reporting impacts based on standard wine industry concepts such as order status, brands, sales channels, lot codes, etc.
•  Self-motivated with a desire to drive business process improvement
•  Knowledge of JD Edwards and High Jump Warehouse Management System preferred
•  Basic understanding of order processing from order receipt to customer receipt is preferred
•  High proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, OneNote and in Sharepoint
