Job Description:

Essential Functions:

•  Monitor performance of equipment, both operationally and to meet safety criteria.
•  Will require to operate assigned equipment in a safe manner.
•  Always remain alert to any environmental conditions.
•  Report any damage to vines, trellis, irrigation equipment, etc. incurred while operating equipment.
•  Assist in irrigation - monitoring of drip system.
•  Assist with crew needs, i.e., assist in movement of sanitation facilities, provision of water, supplies, etc.
•  Understanding and proper use of all personal protective equipment. Always maintain PPE in good repair.

Non-Essential Functions:

•  Perform other duties as assigned

Working Conditions:

•  Work is performed outdoors on uneven terrain with varying temperatures.

Physical Requirements:

•  Bending, kneeling, and twisting repetitively throughout work shift.
•  Occasional lifting to 50 pounds required.
•  Stepping up, stepping down on tractors.
•  Occasional long-term standing or walking on uneven ground during work shift.
•  Repetitive wrist movement that encompasses squeezing, rotating and bending.
•  Arm movement encompasses extension, raising and bending.

Qualifications:

•  Must be minimum of 18 years of age
•  History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.
