Job Description:

Clos du Val is seeking a cellar Intern to be apart of our dynamic production team for the 2022 harvest season. The ideal local candidate would be motivated in helping to create the highest quality Bordeaux variety wines and be involved in all aspects of crush activities from grape to barrel. Join an expert team of dedicated veterans, and a growing set of first-rate newcomers making remarkable Napa Valley wines. Longer term employment and growth opportunities will be available at the end of the harvest season.

Cellar duties:
•  Crush pad activities- processing, sorting, must transfers
•  Pump overs, punch downs, and additions
•  Barrel activities- cleaning, filling, racking, and topping
•  Draining and pressing
•  Cleaning and sanitization of equipment
•  Forklift driving (training will be provided)
