The eCommerce Manager will play a key role at Vintage Wine Estates by taking ownership of the eCommerce and marketing technology systems. This individual will be responsible for implementing new e-commerce, marketing technologies, initiatives, and existing systems.
This individual will work in close partnership with the direct-to-consumer marketing team and greater technology team to manage eCommerce technology systems to achieve the organization’s sales goals.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated the ability to improve key KPIs such as transactions, conversion rate, AOV, and more through site enhancements and new features.
Responsibilities
Manage all online activity in relation to traffic acquisition, sales, conversion, and a/b testing and reporting
Act as the liaison between the direct-to-consumer team and the different technology teams/departments
Organize, diagnose, and manage issues along with their priority levels, and funnel them to the correct technology department
Work alongside the digital marketing and eCommerce teams to drive traffic and sales through user experience optimization
Oversee digital marketing channels across PPC, SEO, email marketing, and social media
Collaborate with external technology partners to implement new technology features and diagnose issues
Maintain ongoing eCommerce initiatives, site testing, development, and security
Engage and participate in the selection of outside agencies to support programming on an as-needed basis
Participate in seasonal planning to ensure all product, promotion, and operational plans are in line with technical capabilities and/or the appropriate system updates are made to meet these needs
Perform analyses and provide interpretation, guidance, and strong recommendations to aid decision-making for marketing initiatives and site enhancements
Stay current on digital marketing and eCommerce trends, research and evaluate market opportunities and customer behavior to increase revenue and customer satisfaction

Understanding of basic cyber security and PCI compliance
Required Education & Experience:
At least 3 years of experience working in a similar role
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a field that has a logical connection to Sales, Marketing, or Technology
Experience developing and overseeing digital marketing strategies
Excellent understanding of web design and web analysis
Experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics
Strong marketing and tech background
Knowledge of digital marketing channels such as PPC, SEO, Social Media Display and affiliate marketing channels
Knowledge of Attribution modeling, website speed optimization, A/B testing, conversion management, sales journey optimization, traffic analysis, and reporting tool
