Job Summary: Chain Division Representative

The Maverick Wine Company Chain Division Representative is expected to be, and responsible for, always positively representing Maverick Wine and their Suppliers and Brands in a positive and professional manner with customers and consumers. The Chain Division Representative is an essential frontline worker responsible for the advancement of Maverick Wine Company goods, and the attainment of multiple supplier goals. The Chain Division Representative is responsible for the associated service to customers necessary to fulfill their needs and maintain and better partnerships between key customers and Maverick Wine Company. This person is expected to exemplify the values that Maverick Wine Company embraces and upholds and be a positive contributor to the wine & spirits community.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

•  Establish and follow an efficient sales route that ensures Food and Drug accounts will be serviced weekly
•  Prepare professional sales presentations tailored to current supplier programs
•  Obtain appropriate chain distribution as directed by management
•  Merchandise shelf, displays, and cold boxes
•  Participate in grocery chain resets for new product placement
•  Work with a sense of urgency to service, maintain, and grow accounts
•  Attain monthly / quarterly / annual / targeted goals set forth by Maverick Wine Co.
•  Provide in market intel and account level information to management team
•  Have a strong understanding of Maverick Wine Co brands and continually develop wine & spirits knowledge overall
•  Communicate with teammates and management team to better and bolster a supportive team-centric culture at Maverick
•  Ethically and responsibly represent the core values of Maverick Wine Co. and their associated suppliers


•  Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and open mind
•  Will to develop existing accounts and build trusting relationships
•  Honest and driven to build a positive culture
•  Ability to use order entry software daily to generate invoices
•  Knowledge of Federal / State / Local liquor regulations
•  A minimum of 21 years of age
•  Must possess current driver’s license and maintain current auto insurance coverage

Working Conditions:

•  Daily travel throughout assigned territory
•  Ability to lift 45lbs
•  Long and / or irregular working hours during peak seasons
•  Physical work – merchandising product and setting up display plans
