Frog’s Leap Winery is a family owned and operated winery in the heart of the Napa Valley. Providing a vital role in the day to day operations of Frog’s Leap Winery, the Reservationist will coordinate multiple levels of guest’s experiences and interactions. Working knowledge of our property and guest capacity is crucial in determining where and when we can accommodate the most productive and positive number of tastings and tours.
Working in concert with the Hospitality Manager and Assistant Hospitality Manager, the Reservationist & Greeter will facilitate routing inquires, assessing guest needs, providing alternatives, and answering Frequently Asked Questions.

Reservationist Responsibilities
•  Answer phones and route calls to proper extension
•  Assist guests with making reservations
•  Answer guest inquiries regarding all things Frog’s Leap
•  Redirecting guests without reservations
•  Create Client Profiles in AMS for upcoming reservations
•  Put phones on Day/Night mode
•  Check voicemails on Saturday and Sunday and return calls as needed


Greeter Responsibilities
This is a nuanced position that will require a fundamental knowledge of our culture and hospitality, our reservation system, the Winery and its history, our Wine Club Members and to a certain extent, Napa Valley as a whole. Being able to think “on your feet”, be gracious but firm and know when and when not to make exceptions. As the Greeter, you will be our guest’s first point of contact with hospitality and very likely set the tone for their entire experience. No pressure.
•  Greeter will greet guests and confirm their reservation, confirm how many guests are tasting, and update the tasting information.
•  If the guest does not have a reservation, and if time permits, the Greeter will assist in making a reservation.
•  Greeter will have a protocol chart and will make decisions on sending VIP’s and Wine Club Members that do not have reservations but, for various reasons, should not be rescheduled but directed to the Tasting Bar for a limited experience.
•  Greeter will be provided a “if this, then that” training, which will be further developed by Management.

SCHEDULE
This is a full-time role, work schedule includes Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily in a team like fashion. •  Highly motivated and self-starting, accurate, thorough and detail oriented
•  Ability to maintain positive work atmosphere by communicating effectively with management, peers, and visitors.
•  Must be a person of high integrity and commitment and possess a strong work ethic.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
While no diploma or degree is required for this role, excellent written and spoken English is required. Conversational Spanish is a plus, fluency is a major plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment of this position involves both working with others and alone for periods of time. In addition to working inside at a computer station, this position requires working outside in a variety of weather conditions. One must be able to lift 40-lbs.
