Job Description:

SUMMARY: This role works across the entire Kosta Browne business with a focus on enabling the Direct-to-Consumer team to innovate and grow. Core to the position’s responsibility is coordination of the customer offering allocation process, the most critical element of KB’s business. Additionally, the role collaborates on select sales and marketing initiatives to test their viability and scalability; feeds relevant insights and data to sales and marketing; and serves a general analyst function in other critical areas of the business. The right candidate will quickly take responsibility for the allocation process and relentlessly seek improvement in the process and results, while also generating insights across the business to drive positive outcomes. This position is based in Sebastopol, CA and reports to Senior Manager, DTC Business Operations.

•  Administer the DTC allocation process, creating rules and processes to generate individual customer allocations to improve customer conversion and retention
•  Forecast and analyze results of DTC offerings to inform future strategy
•  Evaluate and refine current allocation demand model to ensure functional integrity, ease of use, and scalability
•  Maintain the DTC database, including offering metrics and customer segmentation, to enable seamless analysis of core business metrics
•  Be the internal expert on the e-commerce, CRM, allocation demand model, and other systems/tools to ensure all are optimized for efficient execution of the DTC allocation process
•  Partner with Sales & Marketing to drive results in DTC member acquisition, conversion, and retention: Measure ROI of existing activities, design testable initiatives, and recommend practical solutions to drive results

The Ideal Candidate Has or Is:
•  A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business-oriented field
•  3+ years of experience in analytical roles in growth/marketing, strategy, operations or business intelligence, not necessarily in the wine industry
•  A proven ability to use data to generate insights, optimize performance, and inform future strategies
•  Expertise in Excel (including nested IFs, INDEX/MATCH, and pivot tables); experience with Anaplan, SQL, or PowerBI is a plus
•  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a track record of communicating data-heavy information in a clear and concise manner to audiences of all levels
•  An organized project manager who can multi-task and effectively prioritize with minimal supervision
•  Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment and cross-functionally
•  A quick learner with strong intellectual curiosity and continuous improvement mindset
•  Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
•  A strong work ethic with a do-what-it-takes attitude and the ability to navigate uncertainty
•  Familiarity with financial statements and financial modeling
•  General knowledge and experience building and implementing business plans
