Job Description:

Essential Functions:
•  Troubleshoot, repair and maintain a wide variety of equipment to maintain the efficiency and performance.
•  Conduct preventative maintenance inspections, and perform required preventive maintenance actions to ensure the equipment is operating correctly such as lubrication, cleaning and filter change.
•  Determine and locate defective or worn parts on faulty equipment to minimize downtime.
•  Maintain records of work performed on each mechanical device.
•  Perform emergency repairs on all equipment.
•  May perform noncertified welding and simple machining operations as needed for repair and maintenance tasks
•  Utilize a wide variety of hand, portable, and machine tools to perform assignments.
•  Follow all safety procedures to include lockout/tagout while performing maintenance and repairs
•  Use personal protective equipment as required
•  Work successfully as part of a team and maintain strong working relationships with coworkers
•  Assist with special projects and other assigned tasks or duties as requested.
•  Ability to work longer hours based on company needs
•  Ability to analyze and prioritize tasks.
•  Maintain inventory, materials and spare parts on hand.
•  Schedule equipment pickups and delivery

Qualifications:
•  Education: High School diploma or GED, additional technical trainings a plus
•  Experience: 3+ years of experience in a similar role maintaining a wide variety of agricultural equipment
•  Ability to follow directions verbally and/or written.
•  Ability to communicate effectively with teammates and customers of the organization
•  Must be dependable
•  Must be organized - able to self manage priorities, workflow and meet tight deadlines in strict adherence to company Health and Safety protocols
•  Must have understanding of mechanical equipment
•  Must have basic computer and math skills
•  Team player with ability to negotiate with intra/inter organizational cross functional teams
•  Demonstrate a commitment to excellence and high standards
•  Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
•  Strong communication skills.
•  Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
•  CA Driver’s License required and must be insurable by company’s insurance provider
•  Willingness to help with any given task
•  Ability to follow directions and ask questions if unsure
•  Available to work day or Swing shifts with overtime on a regular basis, during Harvest season; August – October
