The Marketplace offers a variety of cheeses, sandwiches, olive oils, mustards, chocolate sauces and treats for purchase by visiting guests. It is also the last point of contact for visiting guests to complete their experience and purchases with us. This position is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations, staffing and company procedures in the marketplace.

Responsibilities include but not limited to
- Leads by example creating a warm and welcoming guest experience by ensuring staff is providing superior customer service
- Leads marketplace staff in the daily operations by assigning daily tasks to staff and monitoring such tasks for accuracy and completion.
- Assists in hiring and training new staff
- Ensures staff is trained on end of vintage wines and is focused on selling at all times
- Manages preparation of all cheese trays, pre-ordered sandwiches and picnic items within set timelines
- Ensures proper preparation of sandwiches using correct number of condiments, meat, cheese, etc
- Accurately operates and trains staff on point-of-sale system to ring guest orders through
- Manages will call pick-ups for wine orders and any necessary changes to existing orders for accuracy
- Creates purchase orders and places orders with vendors for weekly replenishment
- Receives products, verifies correct items and quantities were received
- Follows, trains and maintains all policies and procedures for the department including safe food handling adhering to local, state and federal standards
- Ensures staff is trained on all company policies and procedures and are following such

Skills Required:
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff & customers with a positive outcome
- Provide timely customer service focusing on the customers’ needs and satisfaction at all times
- Ability to accurately operate a point-of-sale cash register
- Ability to sell product and train staff on how to sell product
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Organized, pays close attention to detail, and able to effectively work in a busy environment while displaying composure and leadership for department
- Honest, dedicated, self-motivated, hardworking and believes in integrity
- Professional appearance and ability to enforce an acceptable dress code
- Possess a positive attitude, energy and a desire to achieve and have others achieve as a team
- Ability to think on your feet, make decisions for the best interest of the company and hold staff accountable

Physical Requirements:
- Able to stand, move & walk for a minimum of 8 hours
- Ability to bend, twist, push, pull and regularly lift up to 40lbs
- Ability to pass drug and background screening

Compensation:
- Hourly wage depending on experience
- Monthly Bonus based on sales
- Allocation of tips
- Medical, Dental & Vision benefits available after 60 days of employment
- Annual vacation accrual of 2 weeks, increases with tenure
- 401K in progress

Position Available: Immediately
Full Time – Including Weekends
