-Process grape maturity samples
-Monitor tank fermentations
-Prepare reagents and standards
-Log samples and record results in spreadsheets and database
-Calibration of laboratory equipment
-Perform all routine analyses of musts and wines
-Collect samples for analysis
-Notify winemakers of problems that arise and out-of-specification analysis
-Bottling line QC
-General lab support
-B.S. in Enology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science or related field preferred
-Knowledge of laboratory analysis and methodology
-Excellent observational, organizational and communication skills
-Strong computer skills, including word-processing, spreadsheets, and e-mail
-Ability to work safely, including the proper use of protective equipment and proper handling of hazardous substances
-Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, and perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the company’s value of exhibiting the highest quality standards in all endeavors
-Ability to climb stairs
-Ability to stand and walk for long hours
-Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
-Ability to work both inside and outside in varying weather conditions
