The quiet iconoclasts of Robert Sinskey Vineyards seek a passionate and dedicated Sous Chef. Must love to cook from scratch, glorify seasonal ingredients and work with fresh produce from the winery gardens and pastures using traditional techniques including open-hearth, wood-fire cookery and classic preservation techniques of canning and fermentation. Common sense, supreme-level personal organization, the ability to lead a team effectively and refined knife skills are a must. Please do not apply if you are addicted to sous-vide or other tech-driven techniques. The winery farms organically and believes in understated elegance. The diverse portfolio of cuisine-friendly wines are paired with creations sourced from the gardens and farm. This position will work directly with nationally recognized Executive Chef and winery co-proprietor.
