Grand Cru Custom Crush is a new, state of the art custom crush winemaking facility, focusing on ultra-premium, small lot wines from Sonoma, Napa, and Mendocino. The winery is located in Windsor California, the heart of the Russian River AVA.
Because we have multiple wineries producing different varietals under our roof, we offer a truly unique and exciting harvest internship experience. Interns will get the opportunity to work with a number of different winemakers, different grape varieties and the resulting differing styles all in one harvest season. Harvest intern position to cover all aspects of winemaking. Including, but limited to:
- Fruit processing.
- Punch down/Pump overs.
- Must and wine transfers.
- Filling, topping, cleaning barrels.
- White and Red wine press operation.
- Clean/sanitize tanks and equipment.
- Hard working.
- Positive attitude.
- Ability to work well with others as well as independently.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Wiliness to work extended hour as work requires.
- Harvest and forklift experience is a plus.
This position will start mid-August and run through mid to late November. (Depending on weather and harvest).
