Warehouse & Cellar Worker

Job Description:
This position will perform a wide variety of task as follows, but not limited to:
Warehouse Job Responsibilities:
* Certified Forklift operator
*Ability to mobilize case goods & wine barrels on the forklift
*Interpret & compete PO's as directed by the Winemaker & Cellar Master
*Successfully consolidate palates for distribution fulfillments
*Organization and time management skills
*Load distribution trucks with palates for shipping
*General building and grounds maintenance directed by the production team
Cellar Job Responsibilities:
*Assist in receiving, processing and sorting fruit
*Assist with the press operations
*General sanitation of winery & equipment
*Set up equipment as instructed for next morning's planned operations
*Perform pump-overs and punch-downs
*Racking wine and juice
*Barrel filling, topping and stirring
*Removing pomace from tanks and presses
*Complete work orders as directed
*Work weekends and overtime as required, especially during harvest months
*Understand and sign the Winery's IIPP manual and know OSHA work practices
Qualifications:
*2+ years of forklift experience
*Winery cellar experience is preferred with a minimum of 2+ years
*Reliable transportation to and from work with a clean driving record
*Ability to work long hours and lift 60+ pounds
