Job Description:

JOB STATEMENT: As Marketing Specialist, you will coordinate the development and execution of digital brand strategies, design and develop social media content, and you will plan and execute social media campaigns, merging consumer and brand insights to provide tactical support for digital teams and efforts.

Digital Development & Strategy
•  Creation and optimization of digital, online marketing, and social media campaigns for brands with specific targeting of audiences
•  Drive the development of digital marketing plans and initiatives based on the brand marketing strategy and objectives; ensures team members understand the brand marketing objectives for the assigned brand.
•  Work across departments and teams to deliver cohesive programs through research, competitor analysis, and message integration
•  Support strategic communications, media relations, social media, and branded activities
•  Review proposed digital marketing initiatives with team members, offering feedback and recommendations to the plan.
•  Seek out and evaluates new business opportunities with digital tools and platforms to optimize digital marketing initiatives and ROI.
•  Stay up-to-date and share most recent digital and social media trends and cutting-edge social media marketing tactics
•  Generate, organize, and manage written, image-based, and other content with consideration for tone, messaging, and other outreach initiatives on social media platforms
•  Monitor existing online conversations, moderating approved content to initiate new online conversations
•  Encourage fan engagement by reaching out to key influencers within the digital space
•  Ensure brands are well-represented on all social media platforms, as well as in the extended digital space
•  Build relevant prospecting lists by networking and growing referrals
•  Maintain, submit and coordinate wine submissions for trade, competitions, publications, etc. Work closely with winemaking and cross-functional departments to acquire necessary information, order samples and ship requested materials.
•  Coordinate, order and monitor trade marketing materials for National Sales promotions and planned events.
•  Stay up-to-date with analysis of company and industry trends, including analysis of regional growth, YTY trends, and forecasted growth
•  Prospect with the sales team to grow the company client base and add social media presence
•  Follow through on new initiatives and provide update to key stakeholders
•  Wine submissions for trade, competitions, etc.

Analytics & Reporting
•  Analyze department metrics to determine the effectiveness and viability of developed campaigns
•  Lead digital marketing competitive analysis, needs assessments, and planning projects
•  Strive to continuously improve marketing programs; identify and employ cutting edge strategies
•  Analyze the overall effectiveness of all media and outreach efforts
•  Provide business strategy recommendations

•  Work cross-functionally to improve processes within the organization
•  Monitor and ensures achievement of performance goals and objectives either directly or through direct reports
•  Manage and facilitate workflows
•  Manage and coordinate content and social media calendars
•  Assist with the building, management, and organization and maintenance of digital asset library

•  Bachelors or Associates Degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, Communications, Public Relations, or similar
•  3+ years of experience in account management, brand planning, marketing, digital marketing, or communications planning
•  Management of multiple digital and social media campaigns in an agency or brand environment
Experience with:
•  Set up and analysis of digital analytics
•  Email Marketing
•  Social Media Influencers
•  Consumer Research
•  Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, Public Relations, and/or Sales Experience
•  Copyright Law
•  Digital file management and file formats
•  Creating and delivering briefs, pitches, and presentations
•  Success in digital campaign development, execution, and analysis
•  Increase conversion rates by utilizing digital and social media channels
•  MS Office. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Spark
•  Photography, Video, Animation, Visual Messaging for social media platforms
•  Building and engaging a social online community on behalf of multiple brands
•  Facebook Business Manager
•  Basic knowledge / understanding of wine / experience in the wine industry
•  Ecommerce and CMS platforms such as WineDirect, WordPress
