A Developer at Jackson Family Enterprises, who will develop and support consumer-facing and critical business websites and web-based applications.
This position will partner with functional business analysts to design, deliver, and develop technology solutions that align with department goals and business strategy.
Manages complex technical projects, gathers technical requirements, designs solutions, and participates in the development of technology roadmaps for enterprise application solutions.
Proficient in the design, programming, and debugging of websites and web-based applications.
Integrate third-party products and services with websites; upgrade current websites; provide website support as necessary.
Plan and prepare technical requirements, process documentation, reports, and logs as required for system usability and support.
Perform unit testing and business user training; Provide ongoing analysis to management regarding the performance and usability of current web technologies.
Closely partner with internal business stakeholders to ensure web technologies match business requirements.
Maintain technical proficiency and knowledge related to web technology trends.
Participate in the development and maintenance of the Support Policies and Procedures within guidelines provided by the IT management team.
Work closely and cooperatively with other team members and business stakeholders to assure consistency and standardization throughout all websites and web-based applications.
Essential Skills, Experience, and Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field plus three years of relevant work experience; or six years of relevant work experience.
Understands SEO and web analytics to facilitate data-driven business KPI's.
Experience with testing and resolving cross-browser layout issues and bugs.
Adheres to web design/development best practices, with a focus on standards, usability, and accessibility.
Must be able to multi-task, manage time constraints, and meet deadlines.
Proven ability in building and maintaining strong relationships with team members and business stakeholders.
Must demonstrate a calm, rational, and organized approach to tasks when under pressure.
Strong communicator, both written and verbal.
Strong facilitator of meetings and teams, and medium-size audience speaker.
Strong planning, organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills.
