The Seasonal Winery Cook is to maintain quality and consistency of all food preparation in coordination with the Chefs and F&B manager. Maintain organization and cleanliness of the kitchen to keep up with health and food safety standards

- Prepares food/sandwiches for Visitor Center guests and staff, following recipe or Sous-Chef / Chef’s ingredient instructions
- Cooks food properly and in a timely fashion, using all appropriate safety precautions.
- Ensures high quality of plate presentation
- Assist in ordering from Vendors in absents of Chefs
- Assist with training of new employees within the kitchen area
- Use of all food handling standards
- Ensure use of FIFO system (First In, First Out)
- Maintain system of control for storage temperatures and proper functioning of kitchen equipment
- Maintain clean, organized work area according to safety regulation
- Help/Assist when necessary for keeping tables clear of glassware and service ware, wiped clean for visiting guests
- Run food orders to customer pick up station

- 1-year fine dining experience at a food or winery establishment
- Ability to be self-organized and remain on task with limited supervision
- Knife skills and knowledge of different cooking techniques
- Able to multitask and accomplish all tasks in a timely manner
- Serve safe certificate
- High School diploma or GED; a graduate of an accredited culinary school is a plus
- English required, French/Spanish is a plus
