This position with be goal oriented that will focus on sales, profitability, marketing, and growing our brand positions with our distributors as well as the in the marketplace. This position will be based in Texas and will be responsible for the sales in 6 states including TX, LA, CO, KS, AR, MO
Develop the sales of our wine portfolio by working with our distributors and key retailers in the specified territory.
Attain annual depletion and shipment goals, profit goals and performance goals in your area of responsibility.
Manage distributor pricing models, programs and incentives.
Manage allocations by sku, by market.
Manage target account goals by state.
Develop regional sales plan and execute distributor planning and goal meetings.
Meetings with key distributor management.
Ability to audit distributor billbacks and take corrective action if needed.
Participate in trade and consumer tasting events.
Professional, organized and ability to thrive in a highly competitive environment.
Established working relationships with key accounts and distributors in Illinois and the surrounding markets.
Ability to make smart business decisions based on growing sales, profitability and market share.
Goal orientated with proven track record of achieving sales and profit goals, distribution objectives and creating positive relationships.
Ability and desire to travel frequently for meetings, market visits and presentations.
Excellent managerial and selling skills. Experience in managing relationships with wholesalers at sales staff and management levels.
Demonstrated success in business development and increasing case volume.
Strong business writing and math skills with knowledge of distributor pricing models and how they work.
Understanding of respective state compliance and liquor laws.
Persuasive public speaking and presentation skills and the ability to close deals.
Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Able to comfortably lift and move 40lbs.
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
