Marketing Associate

Job Description:

•  Support the Marketing Manager and Marketing Director in development of brand strategies and marketing plans.
•  Assist Marketing Manager in carrying out day-to-day progress of brand marketing planning and execution.
•  Provide order fulfillment for consumer and distributor marketing initiatives.
•  Coordinate items for all marketing alerts, including headlines, copy, images and links.
•  Work hand-in-hand with Digital Marketing team to provide content calendars for all owned platforms.
•  Manage day to day communications and platform management with influencers.
•  Provide recommendations and analysis on social media performance to ensure goals are met.
•  Create B2B lead generation campaigns and provide succinct, campaign objectives, results and recommendations.
•  Maintain and update website brand pages for owned brands and imported brands.
•  Provide insights and data as needed about the wine marketplace through IRI Nielsen reporting.
•  Closely monitor and analyze sales volumes, market share trends, and competitive activity.
•  Track, analyze, and present brand depletion reports to understand retailer and distributor channel trends.
•  Create PowerPoint slides for marketing presentations containing relevant and compelling data.
•  Manage Trade Tools portion of internal website.
•  Generate creative briefs, manage designers for art creation, manage printing, and coordinate with Winebow Warehouse for marketing related inventory and ordering.

•  Produce market-specific POS upon request by area sales reps such as, but not limited to: menus, menu inserts, and table tents.
•  Ensure all flow POS materials are up-to-date.
•  Actively follow competitor alcohol companies and other consumer packaged goods companies for benchmarking, inspiration, and tracking of creative display and promotional ideas.
•  Collaborate with managers and directors to develop extensive creative briefs to be used by internal and outside design services and photographers.
•  Follows all safety policies and procedures.
•  Arrives to work, meetings, appointments, and other work-related functions on time and as scheduled.
•  Ability to learn new technology platforms.
•  Performs additional duties as assigned.

•  Minimum of two years' experience in marketing role
•  Marketing experience in wine/spirits industry a plus; CPG industry preferred.
•  Bachelor's Degree in Marketing preferred.
•  Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
•  Familiar with IRI Nielsen, HubSpot, and Google Analytics preferred.
•  Strong attention to detail and accuracy, organized, team player, and a positive can-do attitude.
•  Proven ability to work individually and in a team environment
•  Demonstrated excellent communication skills and effective written and oral communication skills.
•  Strong ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
•  Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in the organization, proven experience partnering with internal and external customers.
•  Proven ability to work creatively and analytically.
