Production/Logistics Coordinator - Clos Pegase

Job Description:

Under the general direction of the Winemaker, cellar management and enological data entry team, this position will be responsible for managing the data entry for our winery production and logistics operation, utilizing the newly implemented Microsoft Dynamics NAV “Vinpoint” platform. A key function of the role will be managing the Vinpoint data entry for 3rd party bottlings and external production facilities within Vintage Wine Estates. Will also perform general office administrative duties in support of Clos Pegase Winery management and staff.

•  Entry of cellar work orders and weigh tag information into the Vinpoint ERP system
•  Manage production logistics, working in collaboration with internal staff, 3rd party bottling’s and external production facilities to ensure an efficient and organized bulk
inventory management system at all times
•  Provide general administrative support to winemaking team, including bottling, case good inventory, shipping and cellar. May include setup & maintenance of spreadsheets,
Word documents & forms, posting compliance documents, recordkeeping, copy/scanning and filing. Maintain easy access to most commonly used office documents &
forms, in print as well as on the shared drive
•  Assist Bulk Wine Coordinator, Winemaking team & Warehouse Supervisor with data entry and maintain accurate dry goods inventory records
•  Enter BOL information for 703 reporting and coordinate with home office to keep track of records for all wine movements, bottling, transfers and ensuring compliance with
bills of lading.
•  Assist production and winemaking staff in administrative functions and special projects as needed
•  Handling invoices, including GL coding and approval
•  Coordinate with on-site Safety Manager (Bottling Supervisor) to ensure filing of documents in OSHA safety binders are kept current at all times. Update employee safety
training documents stored on the shared drive. Assist staff with proper incident/injury forms to use when needed. Attend Safety Committee meetings

•  Candidate must be very detail oriented and have strong computer skills.
•  Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to follow through on projects with minimal supervision in a timely manner
•  Must maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive material
•  Ability to communicate and interact effectively with management and other departments on-site, including the home office in Santa Rosa, and other wineries owned by VWE
•  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•  Professional “can do” attitude and a strong work ethic
•  Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
•  Must be available to work overtime during harvest, as required

•  2-4 years related work experience within the wine industry
•  College degree is preferred
•  Working knowledge of winemaking and cellar procedures
•  Preferred knowledge and experience of: Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Advanced Microsoft Office Suite

•  Conditions in the winery can be cold, wet, slippery and often noisy
