VOS Selections is hiring a sales representative for an established and growing Western New York account run. The territory includes, but is not limited to, Buffalo, Amherst, Niagara Falls, Rochester, Syracuse and Ithaca.

The ideal candidate has experience in distribution with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and has established strong relationships with on and off premise accounts. The position requires a self-motivated, organized, energetic, creative and ambitious person. Related wine and spirits experience, such as restaurant and retail, is welcomed. Sales experience in other fields is also welcomed.

•  One – two years industry or related experience

•  Forming relationships and building distribution in both on and off premise accounts
•  Maintaining strong relationships with established customers, while growing business significantly
•  Directs sales campaigns in existing and new accounts with Company products visiting 6-8 customers daily
•  Facilitates product sales on selected items/brands within a pre-determined period, meeting monthly and yearly sales goals and objectives
•  Works in collaboration with Company supplier partners (Work-withs)
•  Develops new accounts through cold-calling prospective new customers
•  Attend monthly sales meetings, including educational seminars on new or existing products
•  Responsible for timely response (within 24 hours) on all communications within the company or with outside business sources
