We are accepting harvest intern applications to work Vintage 2019 at our estate winery in the Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara AVA, just outside of the town of Santa Ynez.
Early mornings and long days, up to six days a week. Great communication skills, endurance, and attention to detail are prerequisites for the position.
Much of winemaking is glorified janitorial work, so be prepared for cleaning, cleaning, and more cleaning- as well as meticulous monitoring of fermentations. There will be a seemingly endless and repetitive cycle of punch downs and pump overs. Lots of barrel, tank, and hose work. Heavy lifting and the ability to work smart, fast, clean, safe, and with a good attitude is required.
We'll keep you busy mid-September through late November.
$14/hr and you bring your own lunch. Applicants should have their own housing and transportation arrangements.
