Williams Selyem is a small, ultra-premium winery in the Russian River Valley appellation of Sonoma County, California, producing hand-crafted, world-class Pinot noir, Zinfandel and Chardonnay. Williams Selyem is looking for a permanent, full time cellar worker to work closely with the winemaking team in carrying out a wide variety of cellar operations. Under the general guidance of the Cellarmaster, the main responsibilities of this position will include all cellar work, logistics, and maintenance of equipment. Specific duties include, but not limited to: sanitation of equipment, barrel topping, barrel racking, additions, forklifting, assist in bottling operations, grape sorting and crushing, punching down must, draining fermenters by gravity, pressing, and barrel filling.
The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is hard working, passionate about wine, enthusiastic, has excellent attention to detail, and can work well in a team setting.
3-5 years winery experience preferred. Hourly pay rate is determined based on experience.
