Position: Marketing Professional
Kanzler Family Vineyards is looking for a talented, ambitious, creative, results-driven marketing professional to manage our direct marketing, PR, events, website and social media marketing efforts. The right candidate will possess excellent writing and communication skills and the ability to create original, authentic and engaging content. Fluency with social media platforms and working knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital content creation and editing tools required. Expertise with Mailchimp email campaign manager is highly desirable.
1. Direct Marketing
Direct to Consumer (DTC) is the lifeblood of our business. Our Mailing List is our holy grail. This position will be responsible for managing and organizing our mailing list and creating, designing, and scheduling email campaigns (using Mailchimp) for wine offerings, holiday greetings, wine club invitations, event invitations and other direct to consumer communications.
2. Social Media Management
Manage Kanzler Family Vineyards social media presence, creating timely, meaningful content. Identify and implement strategies to drive brand awareness, targeting specific markets and demographics. Generate monthly tracking and reporting of social media metrics to General Manager.
3. Website Management
Keep Kanzler Family Vineyards website up-to-date and engaging while proposing innovative improvements to upgrade our website pages. Ensure website and social media content present a consistent and complementary narrative and brand. Design and implement strategy for customer/influence engagement on website.
Events are a key means to introduce new wine consumers to our wines and story. They are vital to growing our mailing list. We currently participate in CA events such as Pinot On-the-River, World of Pinot and Pinot Days. A key responsibility will be expanding and broadening our event portfolio regionally and nationally. (Atlanta High Museum Wine Auction, Nashville Wine & Food, Music to Your Mouth Wine & Food).
5. Ratings & Reviews (PR)
Historically, Wine Spectator reviews and scores have been a top source of new mailing list sign-ups. The marketing professional will be responsible for expanding our ratings and review portfolio and managing deadlines and submissions.
Design and create brand visuals and messaging that communicate our brand pillars of family, farming and craftsmanship.
7. Direct to Consumer Sales Support
Sales and customer support is job one for everyone at Kanzler Family Vineyards. Pitch in as needed to make sales calls. This position requires someone who is not afraid to pick up the phone and call a stranger to chat and sell wine.
8. FarmStay Marketing
The 4 bedroom/5 bath home on our vineyard estate is a unique lodging and hospitality addition to our business. The marketing professional will be responsible for creating and integrating the FarmStay into our overall marketing strategy.

Lynda and Stephen Kanzler planted our vineyard 23 years ago and founded our winery 14 years ago. Their son Alex Kanzler makes the wine. His wife Breauna Kanzler manages customer relations, hospitality and about a dozen other things. The only other employee is General Manager, Danny Fay, who oversees our strategy, operations, finances and wholesale channel. This position will work closely with Bre and report to Danny.
