Job Description:

Love wine and love to talk about it? If you have superior guest services skills you could use them at our tasting room.
We are currently seeking candidates for Seasonal Guest Services Representatives to join our team at Spring Valley Winery in Walla Walla, WA.

What will you be doing?

Greets all visitors in a warm and professional manner.
Conduct tastings and events for guests of the winery.
Set up, take down and service of wine and food at events.
Operate the computerized cash registers.
Stock retail area by moving and distributing cases of wine and other miscellaneous merchandise.
Perform light housekeeping tasks including washing glassware.
Able to lift and carry up to 35-50 pounds.
Stand for extended periods of time.
This is a physically demanding job, which requires lifting, pushing/pulling, climbing, stooping/bending, twisting/turning, reaching, and repetitive motions.
Also, working outdoors in inclement weather.

What will set you apart?

Must be at least 21 years of age.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Have excellent communication skills.
Able to work successfully as part of a team.
Interest /knowledge of wine industry.
Must have basic typing and computer skills.
Available for weekends, required events. Additional weekday availability preferred.
Professional appearance, excellent customer service technique to include public speaking ability.
Must obtain food and beverage service workers permit for Walla Walla County required within 30 days of employment.
History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.
