K&L is looking to hire enthusiastic and high-energy Sales Specialists for our San Francisco retail location. This job is the perfect fit for a warm and welcoming individual who is passionate about helping customers explore the exciting world of wine and spirits.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide exceptional customer service and sales recommendations to our customers
Maintain a strong working knowledge of product offerings and in-store promotions
Complete sales transactions at the register and retrieve pre-paid Will Call orders
Merchandise display areas and maintain a clean/organized retail space
Attend weekly wine tasting and sales education training sessions
Serve as a Regional Specialist for one or more store categories, responsibilities include:
Coordinate with Corporate Buyer(s) on product selections/inventory management
Host in-store customer and staff tastings
Develop online content - blog, newsletter, wine reviews, Facebook, Instagram

REQUIREMENTS
At least 1-3 years of experience in food/beverage/hospitality highly desired
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with a history of maintaining customer relationships
Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
Must be able to regularly lift and carry 40lbs throughout the day
Must be able to stand and walk around the store and warehouse 7-8 hours each day
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook), POS experience preferred

Advantage will be given to people with a background in wine and previous retail experience.
The position is 40 hours per week and will include weekends.
