K&L Wine Merchants (www.klwines.com) is seeking energetic sales professionals for our San Francisco store.
K&L is one of the country’s most successful independent wine and spirits retailers.

General Floor Sales Responsibilities:
• Provide superior customer service and informed sales recommendations to our customers
• Working with Store Managers and our warehouse team, ensure the sales floor is clean, organized and fully stocked with product
• Accurately process all types of retail transactions:
General Sales, Pre-Arrival Orders, Wine Club Enrollments, Shipping Orders, Customer Profile Updates
• Perform store opening and closing procedures
• Retrieve customer will-calls
• Review wines for our Website and Monthly Newsletter
• Attend staff education sessions and on/offsite events as requested
1-3 years experience in food/beverage or other retail industries highly desired.
Demonstrated ability to interact well with customers, and maintain strong customer relationships.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Must be able to lift and carry 40lbs on a regular basis. Must be able to stand and walk around the store and warehouse 7-8 hours each day.
Experience with computer POS/Inventory applications
Position is 40 hours per week, Friday – Tuesday.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, web browsers and point-of-sale applications
