Wine Sales Representative

Job Description:

Four Feathers Wine Estates is a family-owned winery located in Prosser, Washington. We are a custom crush and bulk wine facility with 3,000,000 gallons of capacity, growing and crushing over 17,000 tons at harvest. We have a team of skilled and experienced winemakers and cellar crew dedicated to producing wines of highest quality. We are currently looking for a motivated, detailed-oriented and hard-working person to work with the sales team; initiating, processing and managing bulk wine sales, updating digital postings and product information and invoicing clients.

This position will work with clients and the production team on wine selection, execution and communication of bulk wine sales. They will maintain and update sales data into various digital medium. This person will interact with clients beginning with client outreach through sample requests and all elements of the negotiation, purchase, shipping and invoicing process while communicating with the appropriate parties throughout the process. Other duties will be to maintain and update product information, work on marketing goals and projects assisting in all aspects of Sales and Marketing.

•  Communicate with clients, find their needs, and build relationships with them
•  Communicate Sales information to Wine-tracking, Winemaking and production teams
•  Create Sales Orders based on client’s information. Enter data into Bulk Wine Tracking and Vintrace databases
•  Coordinate timing of freight, product readiness and customer awareness
•  Attend trade shows, visit markets and meet with clients in person
•  Manage travel schedule, set up trade shows, coordinate marketing materials, and wine pouring
•  Track and record client samples and blends, calculate analyses and pricing of samples and create sample labels
•  Maintaining Product Information:
•  Updating spreadsheet with current quantities, tank location and lab analyses
•  Updating bulk wine labels with current analyses, tank information, bottling date and pricing
•  Email and marketing material development and execution
•  Place and update classifieds postings, website maintenance and generating and organizing media
•  Client invoicing and invoice tracking (aging reports)
•  Involved in strategic planning and business development
•  Freight Logistics for Bulk Wine Shipments - procure freight quotes, schedule trucks
•  Create work orders for filling and shipping of totes

•  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
•  Sales experience, wine sales preferred
•  Knowledge and experience within the wine industry a plus
•  Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint
•  Creative individual with passion for working in the wine industry
•  Detail Oriented team player with excellent communication and professionalism
