Hospitality Coordinator

Job Description:

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Sonoma-Cutrer Vineyards Hospitality Support role will help ensure each of the various hospitality departments run smoothly and efficiently. An exceptional work ethic, willing and eager to succeed, attention to detail, creativity and flexibility are key.


Event & Culinary Support 75%
•  Collaborates with the SCV Events and Brown Forman digital teams to create customizable templates for multiple purposes including flyers, brochures, newsletters, signage and videos
•  Prepares content for internal use, such as guidelines, SOPs and glossaries
•  Provide general office administration, including data entry, proofreading, filing and copying
•  Conduct general accounting duties, including processing vendor payments
•  Coordinate and schedule shipments and maintain inventory control for all event and culinary supplies
•  Organize and maintain event & culinary supplies including warehouse, kitchen and laundry
•  Assist with event set up/take down to include glassware, service ware, linen, décor, tables…etc.
•  Secure, coordinate and assemble decorations for events
•  Greet guests and take care of their needs at special events
•  Serve the beverage and food in the appropriate order and in tune with the expectation of the Sales & Event Manager so as to ensure consistency throughout events
•  After the event, reset event space accordance with the Sales & Event Manager’s specifications to ensure the readiness of the room for other functions
•  Performing general office duties and errands as assigned by manager
•  Performs all other duties as assigned by manager
Tasting Room Support 20%
•  Assist with signage creation, gift certificates & decoration needs for tasting room
•  Banking: cash deposits and change as assigned by manager
•  Wash dishes/glasses and store properly as needed
•  Promotes the sale of wine, wine club memberships and non-wine products sold in the tasting room and visitor center as needed
•  Conduct public and private tours of winery facilities including the vineyard as needed
•  Restock shelves and maintain displays as needed
•  May be asked to handle routine purchasing transactions, which includes operating cash register
Wine Club Support 5%
•  Work with event & wine club teams to create signage for wine club events
•  Secure, coordinate and assemble decorations for wine club events
•  Assist with member follow up calls as needed
•  Securing various items needed for club events
•  Assist with event set up/take down


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
•  Bachelor degree or equivalent industry experience
•  Ability to manage priorities and workflow
•  Proficient with MS Office Products and Google Gmail
•  Excellent written and oral communication skills
•  Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
•  Ability to be a team player and model teamwork
•  Professional appearance and demeanor
•  Must be able to lift 40 pounds
•  Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings/weekends

REQUIRED LICENSES:
•  Must have a valid CA drivers license
