Broadbent Selections is accepting applications for a Texas State Sales Manager. This position reports to the Vice-President of Sales, Northeast. Applicants should be self motivated, energetic and career oriented.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Selling and promoting the Broadbent Selections portfolio to all channels of the trade.
Maintain and grow current relationships with our distributor network.
The development of new business relationships with trade accounts.
Establish and maintain positive depletion and distribution growth trends throughout a defined region.
Conduct in-store tastings, wine dinners, and other promotional events throughout the state.
Attend regular Sales Meetings for our distributor sales team which will include educating our distributor sales team and keeping them focused on our goals.
Work with the marketing team to plan and execute successful market visits for our winery partners.
Consistent review of sales figures and overall business analysis to meet and exceed goals.
Plan and review all market activity with your direct manager.
Participate in company KPI objectives & incentives.
Candidate must reside in Austin, Houston or Dallas, Texas.
A vast knowledge of fine wine is required.
Bachelor’s degree from a four year college / equivalent in wine industry education and or key experience.
A minimum of 5 years in the wine industry.
In depth knowledge of the NY wholesale wine trade.
Exceptional communication skills, including public speaking and follow through.
Must be available to travel, work nights and weekends, as necessary.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
Must have valid driver’s license and the ability to lift 40 lbs.
Base Salary + commission with full benefits package
