Successful candidates have a strong, proven track record in sales, and will take company directives and immediately put them into action.

Job Description:

Account Managers for Acker Merrall & Condit are responsible for establishing, maintaining and cultivating new relationships with prospective and existing consignors within a sales territory. Account Managers will be given goals and targets for their territory in advance of each quarter. Industry experience with a sharp focus on sales are essential. A solid background and understanding of wine, the wine auction market, and the logistical implications of moving wine will help Account Managers hit the ground running.

The applicant must have excellent knowledge of and contacts in the Philadelphia, PA Market.

The ideal candidate will:

Wine experience a must, Fine & Rare Wine knowledge preferred
Have the ability to build and maintain quality relationships with clients
Have previous, proven and strong sales experience
Create and follow sales leads
Organize and participate in special wine related events within territory
Be willing and able to organize, inventory and pack up wine cellars
Be the point person for logistical planners and consignors alike
Possess an understanding and working knowledge of the wine auction market
Be able to work independently and take ownership of assigned duties and meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities as directed by management
Be computer literate with the ability to read and manipulate spreadsheets and other office documents
Be comfortable utilizing CRM software and reporting as needed
Be able to lift 40lbs cases of wine as needed
Be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license
Be willing and able to travel as needed, often on short notice
