Rodney Strong Wine Estates is a family owned company that farms 14 estate vineyards and crafts wines from Sonoma County’s finest appellations – Alexander Valley, Russian River Valley, Chalk Hill, Dry Creek Valley, and Sonoma Coast. The winery was founded in 1959 by Sonoma County wine pioneer Rodney D. Strong as the 13th bonded winery in the county. It was purchased by the Klein family, a third generation California farming family, in 1989. The company aspires to conserve and protect the environment in all its operations through sustainable practices, solar power, and fish friendly farming.

We are currently seeking an Associate Brand Manager who will work closely with the Director of Marketing and the Brand Manager across all brands to support and assist on major projects, manage smaller brand projects and help successfully grow the brands in the portfolio. As part of marketing team, this role will assist with any necessary projects across marketing and PR.


•  Works closely with Director of Marketing in management of all RSWE brands. Includes the following: brand planning, program creation and execution, design of POS,
packaging, copy writing, printing, communication with sales, management of outside vendors for everything from design to pos to printing, events, and more
•  Finalization, allocations and management/execution of printing of national trade programs and other POS as necessary – including creative briefs, design, creation and
delivery of custom POS items ranging from glassware to displays to tray packs
•  Regional and seasonal coupon requests – Includes working with designer to create artwork, obtain approval from sales, solicit and review print quotes and ensure
shipments/tracking in a timely manner
•  Creation, management and sourcing of custom POS for sales and marketing, ranging from apparel to glassware to displays as needed
•  Management of websites and content for all brands including project management of new content, new sites, CMS systems, updates, tech sheets. Includes management of
external websites with similar content management
•  Coordination, management and execution of our POS website including daily maintenance, adding new items ensuring inventory levels are correct and refilled, reporting,
ROI assessment and overall efficiency and use of POS ordering system for national, regional and flow programs
•  Coordination and monitoring of packaging process including creation of required labels, one offs, allocations, approvals, routing, tracking, TTB process. Knowledge of
all packaging elements in process and the status of each
•  Management of the marketing team budget including monthly updates, invoices, tracking and ability to assess and correct any issues
•  Ability to analyze, deliver reports and perform enhanced research through IRI/Data reporting systems around depletions, shipments, IRI and other reporting systems on as
needed basis for whole marketing team
•  Works closely with Brand Manager on creation and execution of pull through programs including support, assessment and reporting of programs across channels
•  Management of all brand assets, marketing servers and brand content. Includes management of digital files and organization of all assets. Works closely with Brand
Manager in asset creation
•  Oversee/manage the marketing driven projects from tech sheets, UPC lists, to any relevant project that directs the brand standards and guidelines for marketing customers
•  Interfaces with internal departments, Sales, DTC, Hospitality and Visitor Center management to ensure brand strategies, anthem, standards and communications are
consistent through these sales channels for all core brands
•  Execute special projects and provide general assistance as required by the Director of Marketing


•  BA/BS degree in marketing, business, communications or related field
•  3+ year’s wine industry marketing experience. Experience with national brands required.
•  Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects at the same time while remaining professional and efficient
•  Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet), including proficiency with Photoshop & Illustrator
•  Website development experience, knowledge of databases, basic HTML desired
•  Strong analytical, written, proofing and verbal communications skills required
•  Strong design sensibilities and understanding of end-user goals for POS required
•  Motivated, team oriented, good communicator, self-starter with a strong trade and consumer focus


•  Should be able to lift 40lbs on occasion
•  Work in a normal office environment; sit or stand at a workstation for extended periods of time
