Coeur de Terre Vineyard is looking for a hospitality-driven sales associate to join us full-time with a pathway to Tasting Room Manager. We are a small, tight knit, professional team, who thrive in creating authentic experiences for our club members and our guests. Our Tasting Room is located within our family owned and operated vineyard and winery with extensive opportunities for educational growth in all aspects of growing, producing and selling wine.
Coeur de Terre looks to promote from within, so there is always room to move up! The right candidate will have a very fast track to Tasting Room Manager with a demonstrated committment and compentency.
-Host our customers with the highest level of customer service while educating our club members and guests on our wines, organic farming practices and the Coeur de Terre Vineyard story
-Initiating & closing sales and sign-ups of club memberships
-Processing orders with a strict attention to detail
-Opening and closing procedures within our sales systems
-Housekeeping efforts including, but not limited to, inventory, stocking, cleaning, packing, and organizing
-Packing and shipping wine.
-Assist with Some Administrative Duties
Experience and Expectations:
-Weekend availability – Saturdays and Sundays are a must.
-Memorial Day Weekend and Thanksgiving Weekends a must.
-Ability to foster a warm and welcoming environment
-Polished presentation and professional phone skills
-Experience in the food and/or wine industry in sales and service is a major plus
-A passion for wine, hospitality and strong customer service skills
-Be over 21 years of age
-OLCC permit or the ability to acquire one
-Computer literate in Excel, Word, Outlook and ability to navigate a Point of Sale system
-Ability to lift 45lbs and stand for long periods of time
-Must live within Yamhill County
