Alloro Harvest Position

Alloro Vineyard

Sherwood, OR

Job Description:

Alloro Vineyard is 78 acres of uniquely contoured, loess-derived, Laurelwood soil in Oregon's Chehalem Mountains AVA. We are a micro-boutique producer of ultra premium Pinot noir, made using fruit strictly from our single vineyard Estate. We are looking for 1 individual to work directly with our Winemaker and Assistant Winemaker to help craft our distinctive wines. This is a very unique opportunity to be involved in every aspect of harvest and wine production, working as part of a 3-person team.

The ideal candidate must be hard working, reliable, and EXTREMELY meticulous (like our Winemaker). You will be doing punchdowns, as well as, moving, lifting, and washing lots of barrels and other equipment, so must have a strong back, be capable of lifting 40+ pounds, and not mind getting dirty. Must be able to climb ladders/stairs. I won't list out all activities, since you will be involved in everything. This will be extremely hard, but rewarding work... and fun!

Must be able to work flexible hours, 10-14 hour days, 7 days a week, have transportation to the winery, and your own living arrangements. Looking for someone to start around the end of September/ first week of October, and work until early-November.
