We are a new family-owned and operated winery (~5,000 cases/yr) looking for someone with a positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile to assist our growing operations. This is an opportunity to join a program from the early stages and play an instrumental role in the building of an up-and-coming Napa brand. Job Summary:
Assist Winery Operations for new Napa Valley winery. Handle operating processes, follow up, and complete customer service for all winery direct sales channels.

Job Functions:

Answer and direct phone calls
Organize and schedule appointments
Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, and forms
Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
Develop and maintain a filing system
Update and maintain office policies and procedures
Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
Maintain contact lists
Book travel arrangements for sales team
Submit and reconcile expense reports
Provide general support to visitors, assist in set-up and breakdown of daily tasting room activities
Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers
Manage special projects as required
Participate as a winery representative during winery events and functions

Work Conditions:
Reports directly to the General Manager
Regular working schedule to include weekends and holidays
Office Environment with computer work
Multi-tasking required - numerous projects in progress at any given time
Long and/or irregular hours during peak seasons and/or special events
Ability to lift at least 45 pounds (case of wine)
Comply with company safety regulations

Education/Experience: Understanding of winery hospitality and marketing. Minimum 2 years experience in Direct to Consumer role or equivalent experience
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular),
Winery Related Software experience a plus
Entrepreneurial minded and detail oriented
Self-motivated and professional with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to follow through on projects with minimal supervision
Enthusiasm for continued improvement
Relaxed, friendly and professional demeanor
