Domenico Winery is a family-owned boutique winery located in the heart of the Peninsula. Our vineyard in Amador County grows our flagship Primitivo and Syrah. We also source over 20 different grape varietals from all across Northern California.
We are currently seeking a Cellar Worker to support in daily activities with the production crew. The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, be capable of working long hours while still displaying great attention to detail, and have the desire to learn about winemaking. Winery and forklift experience are a plus, but not required.
Routine sanitization of parts, pumps, hoses and tanks
Maintain general cellar and equipment organization
Oversight and reporting of all bottling and labeling activities
Wine movements, filling, topping and racking barrels
Making additions to wine or juice
Orchestrate all Bacchus Winemaking Club activities
Assist with inventory when needed
During harvest, the candidate will work directly with the Cellar Master in all aspects of crush, fermentation, and press.
This is a rare opportunity to join a fast growing family winery that is offering a starting part time position with opportunity to become a permanent full time position. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team and grow with the company.
The position will begin at 20-30 hrs/week, and may increase to 40 hrs/week. Harvest (August - November) will require extended hours and possible weekends.
