Job Description:

Position Summary

The Sr. Pricing Analyst will be responsible for the tracking and monitoring of Constellation Brands and competitions pricing, assess and report the price changes impact on the market, and the impact to profit margins. This individual will also provide key insight into pricing decisions through advanced pricing analytics, identifying the key drivers and market factors. The Sr. Pricing Analyst will also be a major contributor in the development of pricing strategies and guidelines. This position works closely with Sales, Finance, and Marketing.


• Deliver advanced level of pricing analytics by statistically analyzing sales, pricing, and demographic data
• Track, monitor, and evaluate the impact of pricing actions implemented by Constellation's and competition; report results and provide market implications to management
• Develop new pricing models/tools with support of manager
• Support the development of pricing strategies
• Ensure pricing is aligned with business objectives through the evaluation of each pricing strategy
• Create reports and perform post pricing analytics to identify profit opportunities across key markets, brands and packages
• Provide analytical support to ensure execution of promotion strategies to maximize business revenue potential
• Analyze impact of pricing actions on brewer, distributor, and retailer to optimize price performance
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in pricing strategy, data analytics, management consulting, or consumer insights roles; record of accomplishments and increasing responsibilities
• Bachelor's degree in Predictive Analytics, Economics, Mathematics/Statistics, Finance; MBA preferred
• Exposure to advanced analytics concepts such as predictive analytics
• Knowledge and experience with econometric modeling
• Experience working with a variety of data sources including and not limited to, syndicated data (IRI & Nielsen), census data, other
• Possess a demonstrated ability to manage large datasets, interact with business intelligence systems and data visualization platforms. Experience working with tools such as (R, SAS, MicroStrategy)
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel (functions, macros, VBA), Word, PowerPoint, and ThinkCell
• Strong results orientation with ability to consistently meet commitments and deadlines for him/herself and those of his/her team; high levels of energy and resiliency
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities and make ongoing decisions
• Proven ability to break down complex problems into manageable goals
• Excellent time management, project planning, and organizational skills
• High level of integrity and professional judgement, with the ability to effectively manage highly sensitive, confidential information
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including sharing ideas and information across diverse audiences, and producing high-quality deliverables to drive business decisions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a consumer packaged goods industry is preferred

• Must be at least 21 years of age
