Job purpose
The Territory Manager position is responsible for managing and developing sales accounts.

Territory - Desired Locations:
West - Anywhere in CA near a Major City
PacNo West - Denver
Mid Atlantic - DC
South East - Texas
North East - NYC or Chicago

Duties and responsibilities

•  Expand Private Label and National business within assigned territory
•  Work both On and Off premise broad market accounts, assigned chain accounts and distributors.
•  Able to balance outside workload with a strong component of prospecting and opening new accounts
•  Manage in-bound requests from listings and referral networking
•  Align business objectives and sales goals to increase both revenue and margin growth.
•  Consistently ensures sales database is updated and properly maintained for all accounts, contacts and opportunities
•  Manage and work closely with clients to improve relationship by providing samples, pricing, updated inventory, wine technical data and sales requests
•  Act as a professional liaison between Terravant and clients. Represent Terravant in a professional, courteous, and knowledgeable manner
•  Develop positive professional relationship with entire sales team


•  College degree or equivalent and 3+ years wine industry sales experience required
•  Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills
•  Exceptional talents and expertise in developing new business
•  Entrepreneurial spirit
•  Exudes a positive and pro-team work spirit
•  Must live in close proximity to assigned regional market base city

Working conditions

•  Travel as required
